At Pop's Custom Model Railroads, we believe that it is never too late for a happy childhood and we want to help you in any way we can. Therefore we offer all of our services to you individually or together.

Advice and Planning: We can design your future layout specifically to your request and specifications, whether you desire a truly prototypical railroad or a complete fantasy. Furnishing you with a complete list of materials needed to build your layout as well as 2D and 3D CAD renderings.

Benchwork: We use only the best lumber and best practices, to insure that your benchwork will support your model effectively for the life of the railroad.

Trackwork: We always pay special attention to track. Track is laid on cork roadbed, wired, and weathered then tested continuously for 24 hours to insure a reliable operation.    

Electrical: All railroads are professionally wired by IPC certified technicians. IPC-A-610 is the most widely used electronics assembly standard in the world. The course training is on the Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies. This level of expertise guarantees a truly professional electrical system.

Scenery: There are two main factors to producing a great looking model railroad, color and texture. Our craftsmen have a combined total of over 100 years of experience in modeling and art. We are always doing research on the different products and procedures used. Not only to keep up to date with technology but to create a model railroad that  is as realistic as possible.
